We’re working with a high-growth SaaS company looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join one of their core backend teams.

This is a fully remote US-based opportunity, offering strong technical ownership, strategic visibility, and equity. You’ll play a key role in evolving the infrastructure behind a platform serving millions of users, with a strong focus on integrating modern AI tooling to accelerate engineering workflows.

🧠 What you’ll do:

• Build and scale services using Golang
• Optimize complex systems involving distributed caching and large datasets
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and infrastructure teams
• Integrate AI tools into development workflows to enhance speed and quality
• Drive improvements in architecture, testing, and deployment using tools like VS Code and Git

✅ What we’re looking for:

Must-haves:

• 6–8+ years experience building scalable production systems
• Deep expertise in Golang, SQL, Git, and Memcached (or similar)
• Strong experience working in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, etc.)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable with remote debugging and development via VS Code

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with PHP and Google Bigtable
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
• Background in high-volume, parallelized, asynchronous systems
• Experience navigating complex permission and security models
