About the Role:
Social Media Manager, you will own Dataprana's end-to-end social media output across all digital channels. This is a hands-on, creative role that blends strategy with execution — ideal for someone who enjoys crafting engaging stories, designing impactful visuals, building automated workflows, and translating complex infrastructure topics into compelling content for a professional audience.
You will work alongside the Director of Marketing and Communications, shaping how Dataprana communicates across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube — connecting the company with industry leaders, prospective clients, and partners as we race toward our 5 GW by 2030 pipeline goal.
Key Responsibilities:
Content & Channel Management
- Content Calendar: Own and maintain a detailed multi-channel content calendar. Ideate, draft, schedule, and publish high-quality content across all Dataprana social platforms.
- Visual Production: Produce accompanying visuals — infographics, short-form videos, and social graphics. Shoot and edit content that reflects Dataprana's brand voice.
- Content Repurposing: Transform long-form assets (blogs, reports, announcements) into platform-optimized, bite-sized content for each channel.
- AI & Automation: Identify, implement, and continuously optimize AI-powered and automation tools across the social workflow — from ideation and scheduling to analytics and competitor tracking.
- Trend Monitoring: Monitor platform trends and competitor activity; share actionable insights with the marketing team.
Paid Advertising & Campaign Management:
- Campaign Execution: Plan, create, and manage paid social campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook/Meta Business Suite, and X. Produce ad creatives — graphics, short videos, and copy — aligned to brand and campaign objectives.
- Audience & Targeting: Develop and optimize targeting strategies, including demographic, behavioral, and retargeting segment.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor campaign metrics daily; prepare performance reports with insights and recommendations. Identify high-performing organic content to boost.
- Lead Generation: Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to align paid efforts with brand strategy and lead acquisition goals, scaling from 20 leads/month.
Community & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Community Engagement: Lead online community engagement across platforms, to build brand loyalty and awareness.
- Asset Management: Maintain a shared library of creative assets, templates, and content materials. Track key performance metrics and surface insights for optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams and individuals across departments to gather content requirements, success stories, and campaign objectives.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Experience: 3+ years in social media management or content creation, with a demonstrated track record of growing accounts and driving measurable results.
- Creative Production: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools. Comfortable both in front of and behind the came.
- Writing & Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with a strong command of tone, clarity, and accuracy for professional audiences.
- Paid Media: Hands-on experience planning and managing paid social campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook/Meta Business Suite, and/or X, including ad account setup, audience targeting, and performance analysis.
- AI & Automation Fluency: Demonstrated proficiency with, or strong willingness to learn and implement, AI-powered tools and automation platforms to improve workflow efficiency.
- Organization: Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Asana or similar tools is a plus.
- Industry Curiosity: Willingness to learn the data center, AI infrastructure, and energy space in order to craft meaningful, strategic content.
Location & Work Environment:
- Location: Remote — Canada and U.S.-based candidates only
- Travel: Some travel may be required for content creation, events, or team coordination.
Compensation:
- Base: $65,000–$75,000 USD annually
- Performance Bonus: Up to 15% annual cash
- PTO: Unlimited PTO, subject to Company policy
- Holidays: 6 paid U.S. holidays
- Professional Development: 50% reimbursement for approved professional training
