ROLE MISSION
The Mobile Computing Product Marketing Manager will be responsible to drive the full lifecycle of Mobile Computing product portfolio, from conception until end-of-life, including but not limited to clearly identifying customers’ needs, drive products’ requirements accordingly, define the market strategy and working to enhance product functionalities until the end-of-life, to ensure competitive positioning, market adoption, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze the "Voice of the Customer" (VoC) to define product requirements that will guide product development, updates, or obsolescence based on market trends and customer needs.
- Monitor the technical development of the Mobile Computing product line, ensuring that progresses align with defined market requirements and time-to-market objectives.
- Define the go-to-market strategy, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and product launch planning, to support the sales team in achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Continuously assess the competitive landscape and refines product positioning to maintain competitiveness in our offering.
- Develop marketing and training materials to support sales teams and customer adoption.
- Provide training to sales teams, partners, and customers to ensure a strong understanding of product capabilities and value propositions.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with third parties, such as partners, distributors, resellers and ISV to enhance the adoption of Mobile Computing solutions.
- Work closely with R&D to define new products roadmaps and throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a business liaison with key partners, customers, and internal teams to drive revenue, market share, gross margin, and overall product success.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education (School/Specialization) Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or Economics. Masters Degree is a plus.
Primary Language English; Italian or other languages a plus
Experience Previous experience as Product owner of successful software and hardware products
5+ years experience in Product Marketing Management (Hardware and Software solutions)
Technical knowledge of Mobile Computers or closely related industry (smartphones/tablets or other mobile devices)
Expertise in Retail, T&L, Automation industries a plus
