You work directly with business stakeholders at a global science & technology leader: understand the question, prototype the answer, iterate until it drives a real decision.

Remote from Latin America · Long-term · Start as soon as possible, 1 October 2026 at the latest

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Turn business questions into models: forecasting, predictive analytics, correlation analysis
• Build data apps people open every day (Streamlit; ReactJS for the polished builds)
• Choose the right chart. Visualisation is craft, not decoration
• Move across domains: financial, semiconductor, experimental data
• Use AI tools daily, with the fundamentals to judge their output

YOUR SECOND FOCUS: THE PIPELINES UNDERNEATH

• Build and maintain the ETL work your own analyses run on
• Any framework: PySpark, Polars, dbt, SQL. The interest matters, not the tool
• Git and Docker daily; DuckDB and FastAPI in the stack

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years hands-on experience, 10+ for the Sr. title
• Strong, idiomatic Python and real delivery with real stakeholders
• Genuine interest in data engineering, or first hands-on experience
• Fluent English. You work with US stakeholders daily
• Regular live overlap with US West Coast mornings
