Role Overview
We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer (IoT) to join our IoT Development Team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern IoT applications and services, working across both backend and frontend components.
You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and clients to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions in challenging, real-world environments, with a strong focus on Industry 4.0, IoT, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams and clients to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support multiple ongoing projects in dynamic and complex environments.
- Participate in the design and architecture of IoT applications and services, covering both backend and frontend components.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement and enhance front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.
- Perform unit, integration, and automated testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless frontend-backend integration.
- Clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate business objectives into actionable technical solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and trends in software development, IoT, and high-tech environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in software development using .NET technologies (C#).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with full stack development for IoT applications and services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including deployment and application management.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with MQTT and other communication protocols.
- Exposure to different data storage technologies; familiarity with graph databases or Digital Twin technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and common software design patterns.
- Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies and automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with Git-based source control systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Python.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Nuxt/Vue, React/Next.js, or Angular.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
- Familiarity with Azure services (Azure App Service, Azure Logic Apps Custom Connectors, Azure IoT, Azure Event Hubs) or equivalent AWS services.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (beneficial).
- Azure or AWS certifications.
