Senior Software Engineer Team Lead

We’re looking for a Software Development Manager / Tech Lead to take the reins of our technology team as we move into our next stage of growth. Responsibilities:

• Lead & Scale – Provide technical leadership to the engineering team, guiding system design, best practices, and execution as we grow.
• Hands-On Development – Continue building data pipelines, APIs, and scalable cloud infrastructure — we value leaders who code.
• Architect for Growth – Redesign and evolve our systems to handle exponential scale, reliability, and security.
• Tech Strategy – Evaluate and introduce new technologies to keep us ahead of the competition.
• Cross-Functional Partnering – Work with analytics, product, and client success teams to deliver solutions that transform client outcomes.
• Mentorship & Hiring – Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Operational Excellence – Drive CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and automation to ensure we deliver reliable, world-class software.

Must Have Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of engineering experience (with hands-on coding in Python, SQL, and AWS).
• Proven leadership: leading projects, mentoring engineers, or managing a small-to-mid sized team.
• Strong AWS knowledge: Aurora, Redshift, Lambda, Fargate, SQS, IAM.
• Expertise in SQL and database optimization.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT processes and APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, Linux.
• Strong commitment to testing and quality.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Airflow or workflow orchestration at scale.
• IaC (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation).
• Exposure to OpenAI and embeddings, ideally production-level use.
• Caching solutions (Redis or similar).
• Experience in high-growth startups or SaaS platforms.
