Position Summary
We’re seeking a UX Designer to lead the creation of intuitive, engaging, and scalable experiences across Dash’s client- and user-facing applications. From web tools to mobile apps, you’ll work closely with the Product team to turn complex workflows into simple, effective designs that drive adoption and satisfaction.
You’ll play a key role in defining a unified UX framework that supports consistency across products and can be used by both internal and external development teams. Success in this role means delivering user-centered design solutions informed by data, aligned to product roadmaps, and built for scale—making UX a core part of the product experience itself.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design intuitive, scalable user experiences across mobile apps, mobile web, and desktop platforms, with a focus on complex data visualization and reporting tools.
- Lead and contribute hands-on to the end-to-end design process, collaborating closely with Product, Development, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution.
- Define interaction models, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI specifications that address immediate needs while building a long-term design framework.
- Create clean, user-friendly interfaces that support a wide range of user types and business use cases, across web and native mobile environments (React Native, Flutter).
- Apply user-centered design practices—conducting and leveraging user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform and validate design decisions.
- Translate research findings and user behavior insights into effective design strategies, using a foundation in behavioral psychology to ethically guide user motivation.
- Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals in a compelling and confident manner.
- Maintain organized, production-ready assets; manage wireframes, screen flows, and design specifications using modern design and prototyping tools.
- Incorporate a strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles to create accessible, feasible design solutions.
- Help evolve and enforce a unified UX framework and design system that scales across internal and external teams.
- Balance creativity with practical constraints—navigating shifting priorities and multiple projects while ensuring consistency and impact.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience designing web and mobile platforms, ideally for high-traffic, consumer-facing applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of user experience design work across platforms.
- Skilled in creating wireframes, user flows, and design systems that effectively communicate interaction and visual design concepts.
- Experience with user journey mapping to guide design strategy and track the impact of enhancements over time.
- Proficient in current design tools and technologies, with a commitment to staying updated on industry best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and align them with business goals through storytelling.
