On behalf of our client, an international fintech startup, were hiring an AI Engineer wh'os excited to take ownership of AI-powered features and bring intelligence into real-world finance.
What you'll do:
Build and train machine learning models for finance use cases (forecasting, anomaly detection, recommendations).
Experiment with LLMs and generative AI APIs to enhance user experience and automate workflows.
Contribute across the AI lifecycle from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
Work in a modern AI stack (Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, ETL pipelines, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, Weights & Biases, Hugging Face).
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate AI into a Node.js-based platform.
Monitor deployed models, retrain/tune as data evolves, and set up testing and explainability frameworks.
What you need to have:
35 years of hands-on experience building or deploying AI/ML systems.
Strong Python skills, with a good grasp of data structures, APIs, and modeling techniques.
Experience with structured datasets, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
Basic backend knowledge (REST APIs, Node.js services, data integrations).
Curiosity about financial systems and how AI can drive smarter decisions.
Collaborative mindset and strong sense of ownership able to work autonomously with the right attitude, attitude, attitude.
Bonus points for:
LLMs, vector databases, financial forecasting, or time-series data.
Advanced backend development (microservices, GraphQL, scalable architecture).
Familiarity with P&L, balance sheets, or cash flow basics.
Experience with FastAPI, Docker, or cloud ML platforms.
