Contract Project Manager (Yardi Budget Tool Implementation)

• Estimated Project Duration: May 1 – July 31
• Location: Remote (preference for candidates near Minneapolis or Dallas)
• Pay Rate: $40-45/hr depending on experience.

Overview

A well-established organization in the property management and real estate sector is seeking a Contract Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new budget tool within their ERP system, Yardi. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts between the vendor’s project team and an internal cross-functional team consisting of IT, Property Management, Financial Analysts, and members of leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive the successful implementation of a Yardi-based budget tool.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the vendor’s project team and internal stakeholders (IT, Property Management, Financial Analysts, Leadership).
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communication plans.
• Facilitate status updates and stakeholder reporting to ensure visibility and alignment on project progress.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure all project milestones are met on schedule and within the defined scope.
• Champion best practices for project management and lead post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver software or ERP implementation projects; specific experience with Yardi is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in providing timely, detailed stakeholder reporting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Self-starter who can prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and drive project initiatives forward with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience in property management or real estate industry.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Work Environment

• Primarily remote; however, candidates located in or near Minneapolis or Dallas may have the opportunity for occasional on-site collaboration.
• Requires the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendor personnel across multiple locations.
