About The Job

As a Data Scientist, you will leverage data intelligence and machine learning to analyze Big Data and generate detailed insights on products and users. You will play a key role in developing data-driven solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and explore large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to support decision-making.
  • Process, clean, and transform large-scale data efficiently.
  • Build and optimize machine learning models, including neural networks and recommendation systems.
  • Ensure the deployment and scalability of data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing best practices in data engineering and machine learning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data science and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS (S3, EC2, IAM, SageMaker).
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Experience working with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong grasp of data lake and data warehouse concepts.
  • Higher English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data science and big data analytics.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed computing.
  • Proficiency in Scala or another functional programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS Lambda, VPC, SNS, SQS, and RDS.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated model deployment.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or Apache Spark.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Spanish
