Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Senior Software Engineer - HealthTech at CytoCync. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining back-end applications, ensuring they align with our high standards of security and performance. Daily tasks will include writing clean, scalable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and participating in code reviews. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science principles and Software Development practices
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with Programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely in a contract role
• Experience in the healthtech industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
