Senior UX Product Designer

Job Description

As a UX Product Designer or Senior UX Product Designer you will be responsible for creating user interaction designs for Cytel software and web applications. You will work with product managers, product owners, and engineers to follow a user-centered design approach as you work collaboratively to brainstorm and design innovative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on low, medium and high fidelity prototypes, low and high fidelity comps, and clickable prototypes.
• As needed, conduct user research in person and remotely, identify pain points and needs, and develop user profiles.
• As needed, run usability tests and perform other usability assessments you think are appropriate.
• Provide input for design decisions based on good design principles.
• Contribute to requirements and design documents.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree
• 5+ years as a usability engineer, information architect, user experience designer, user researcher, or other equivalent title in software design and development

Additional Qualifications

• STEM Degree (bachelor's or a master's in Engineering or Computer Science)
• Direct experience with a variety of usability methods
• Direct experience in clinical trials and/or statistics
• Direct experience in software for healthcare
• Direct experience with software as a service products
• Expert interaction design skills
• Experience using UI/UX tools like Figma, InVision, Sketch, Balsamiq, Axure
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Strong influencing or negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Organized, persistent, flexible and able to focus on long term goals
