We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and operate mission critical services and applications that are used customers and employees worldwide.

Responsibilities:
Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions
Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed meeting LinkedIn’s standards for quality software engineering
Design and ship high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability and testability issues.
Maintain understanding of latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.
Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services
Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers
Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of web development experience
MUST HAVE EMBER JS (2 years) - We need a web developer familiar with Ember JS. This engineer will work on an internal tool used by editors at LinkedIn to power member experiences like the right rail on LinkedIn Web and circulate content through notifications.
Proven track record of leading the development of web applications (Java script)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Typescript
Familiarity with Figma or other design software
Experience any object-oriented programming (Java, C#)
Working experience in the development as well as consumption of Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / RPC)
Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems
Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies
