About The Role

Our Production Operations team builds tools that help Title Managers spend less time on operational overhead — chasing information, assembling context, manually entering data — and more time on the impactful work that matters most. We're in the middle of a strategic shift: moving our tools from documenting productions to actively informing how they're run. That means extracting structured data from production artifacts automatically, surfacing operational intelligence on active titles, and enabling planning grounded in real historical data.

You’ll primarily own the design of Schedule Extraction — a greenfield project focused on automating how we capture schedule data to support production tracking and planning. You'll also contribute design thinking to adjacent data extraction work and provide feedback on our Agentic Insights initiative, which brings AI-powered visualizations and conversational interfaces into Slate Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end design of Schedule Extraction, from concept development and user research through prototyping, detailed design, and implementation support
  • Work across all stages of the design process: user research, ideation, concept development, validation, workflow diagramming, prototyping, final visual design, and implementation support
  • Frame the problem and opportunity through a deep understanding of user needs, business goals, and how our data and systems work today
  • Create beautiful, emotionally compelling, pixel-perfect mockups and prototypes of the end-to-end user experience
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs with users, leveraging lightweight code/prototypes where appropriate
  • Partner with PMs to craft systematic solutions that connect the dots between user needs, data, business goals, and business strategy
  • Partner with engineers to build impactful products and features within the constraints of our technology and timeline
  • Contribute design feedback and thinking to related initiatives, including other data extraction projects
  • Collaborate with data science and machine learning teams to influence the design of AI-powered features from a user-centered lens
  • Facilitate collaborative work sessions with cross-functional stakeholders

The must-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software product design
  • Experience designing AI powered experiences in the enterprise space, especially in data management, workflow, or operational tools
  • Track record of designing and shipping enterprise or B2B experiences that have scaled to thousands of users and had successful outcomes for global users and the business
  • Exceptional communication skills, in writing and verbally, whether in small group discussions, large-scale presentations, or with executives
  • Extraordinary thoughtfulness and craft in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
  • Humble, collaborative approach to partnering with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders to find the best solution together
  • Mastery of Figma's advanced features such as Autolayout, Variables, DevMode, Responsive Prototypes, etc.
  • Experience leveraging AI to accelerate design workflows, especially rapid prototyping
  • Experience collaborating with machine learning and data science teams to influence algo design from a user-centered lens

Optional nice to haves

  • Experience designing for production management, media operations, or entertainment industry tools
  • Familiarity with data extraction, ETL, or document processing workflows
  • Experience working with off-shore development teams and a point of view on how best to collaborate with them
  • Experience with AI-powered or agentic product experiences (chat interfaces, intelligent recommendations, automated workflows)
  • Background in designing data-heavy applications such as dashboards, analytics tools, or information-dense enterprise UIs

Pay Rate Range

  • $100-135/hr.
