Marketing Channel & Performance Manager

Position Summary: This is a full-time position starting in 2026 joining our Marketing department based at Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office).

You’ll be an analytical and data driven person with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive real-world impact in our key therapeutic areas. You’ll coach and inspire a high-performing team, challenge conventional thinking and drive continuous improvement across every touchpoint. What You’ll Be Doing In This Role:

Omnichannel Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement omnichannel marketing strategies that integrate email, paid media, social, web, events and sales channels to support brand objectives, both individually and through direct line reports.
  • Partner with brand, sales and medical teams to ensure channel plans align with the customer journey and compliance requirements.
  • Define and optimise the mix of owned, earned and paid channels to maximise reach, engagement and conversion.
  • Support content personalisation and segmentation strategies across target audiences and therapy areas.
  • Develop and maintain a lead generation programme in alignment with sales team’s needs, supporting sales teams with potential opportunities.
  • Act as a strategic partner to brand teams, providing insights and recommendations on channel strategy, targeting and content optimisation.

Campaign Planning & Performance

  • Develop campaign frameworks with clear objectives, KPIs and measurement plans aligned with business goals.
  • Work closely with brand managers to lead effective campaign execution, collaborating with internal stakeholders and agencies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics such as engagement, conversion, ROI, MQLs and channel effectiveness.
  • Embed a data-driven, experimental mindset within the team encouraging testing, learning and optimisation to drive ongoing channel and campaign performance improvements.

Technology & Enablement

  • Champion the use of marketing automation, CRM and analytics tools to enhance campaign efficiency and targeting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with data teams to improve data quality, tracking, and integration across platforms (e.g., CRM, Google Analytics, Dot digital).
  • Identify opportunities to scale best practices and automation to improve speed-to-market and consistency across brands and regions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Present performance insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to guide investment and strategy decisions.
  • Support, develop and mentor a small team of channel specialists.

The following skills and experience will be important in helping to set you up to succeed in this role:

  • Degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Solid scientific understanding with a strong appetite for ongoing learning and knowledge development.
  • Proven experience in omnichannel, digital or performance marketing, with hands-on experience driving campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Confidence using CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, Google tech stack, and Tableau for data insights.
  • Analytical curiosity and a results-oriented mindset with the ability to translate complex data into strategies that make a real impact.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating and can influence and build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.

Bonus Points If You Have Any Of The Following:

  • Experience mapping customer journeys and developing segmentation strategies to personalise engagement.
  • Exposure to agile marketing methods and test-and-learn frameworks that foster innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, including HCP engagement and navigating regulatory requirements.
