Director of Product Marketing – Cybersecurity / Incident Response (US-Based, Remote)
Our client is a rapidly growing cybersecurity startup specializing in incident response solutions. They are seeking a Director of Product Marketing to define product positioning, drive go-to-market strategy, and ensure their solutions stand out in a competitive landscape.
This is a high-impact role suited for a hands-on, strategic product marketer with a deep understanding of cybersecurity—particularly incident response or network security—and a proven track record of translating complex technical capabilities into compelling value propositions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own product marketing strategy, including positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
- Partner closely with product, sales, and leadership to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new solutions and features.
- Create compelling collateral and enablement materials for sales, including battlecards, product briefs, and customer-facing content.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product roadmap and messaging.
- Develop and manage customer case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership content.
- Support demand generation and field marketing teams with product-focused campaigns.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, iterating to maximize impact.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing for cybersecurity solutions, with a focus on incident response or network security.
- Strong track record of defining positioning and messaging in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate across product, sales, and marketing to drive GTM success.
- Experience creating content for technical and executive audiences (CISOs, security teams, etc.).
- US-based; remote role with flexible working hours.
