Role Type- 1yr contract extendable
Role Description The Role
We're looking for a mid-level Product Designer to join our design team and own the consumer-facing experience across our hotel booking and loyalty rewards products. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role — you'll lead design end-to-end, work shoulder-to-shoulder with PMs and engineers, and represent design in conversations with external clients.
If you're someone who thrives with autonomy, loves untangling complex loyalty and booking flows into elegant experiences, and wants your work to be used by real travelers every day — this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Lead design end-to-end on hotel booking and loyalty rewards features — from early-stage concepts and wireframes through to polished, developer-ready specs
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the build cycle, ensuring design intent is preserved in the final product
- Partner with external clients and stakeholders to present work, gather feedback, and align on product direction
- Contribute to and evolve our design system, maintaining consistency and scalability across all consumer touchpoints
- Use data to drive decisions — leverage analytics, funnel metrics, and behavioural signals to identify problems and validate solutions
- Prototype interactions to communicate intent clearly and test concepts before they reach development
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing web and/or mobile work
- Domain knowledge in travel, hotels, or loyalty — you understand booking flows, rewards mechanics, and what makes these experiences frustrating or delightful
- Figma proficiency — component-based design, auto-layout, collaborative workflows, and high-fidelity prototyping
- Design systems experience — you've contributed to or helped build a design system, not just consumed one
- Strong prototyping skills — you know when a static screen isn't enough to communicate an idea
- Data-informed design mindset — you're comfortable reading dashboards, interpreting A/B results, and letting numbers shape your craft
- Self-direction — you can manage your own process, prioritise independently, and deliver without hand-holding
- Clear communicator — you can articulate design rationale convincingly to both technical teammates and non-design clients
Nice to Have
- Experience in a consulting or client-facing design environment
- Familiarity with loyalty program mechanics — points, tiers, redemption, and status flows
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Exposure to hotel or OTA platforms (property detail pages, search & filter, booking funnels)
Why Join Us
- Fully remote — work from wherever you do your best thinking
- Small design team — your contributions are visible, credited, and consequential
- Meaningful domain — helping people get more value from their travel experiences
- Client exposure — you'll present work directly to senior stakeholders and shape product decisions from day one
