Key Requirements
*Must be a USC or GC to apply, please no third party help-no sponsorship available
- Exceptional UI design capability:
- Strong craft in layout, visual hierarchy, interaction patterns, and micro-detailing
- Fluent in building complex interface systems: tables, dashboards, navigation schemas, and design for dense data
- Robust UX skills:
- Ability to understand business and user needs within highly regulated environments
- Proficient in mapping user flows, defining states, structuring screens for usability and clarity
- A systems thinker who can design scalable, repeatable UX patterns
- Experience with enterprise/B2B platforms or internal tools
- Comfortable working as a true individual contributor – no management responsibilities
- Must be portfolio-forward – hiring decisions will center on demonstrable work samples
Portfolio Expectations
- Must include real product design examples – not just visual polish
- Work should show full design process: problem understanding, UX flows, UI execution
- Figma links, PDFs, Notion docs – all acceptable. No need for a fancy website.
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in finance, healthcare, or other regulated industries (not required, but helpful)
- Experience working with global or distributed teams
- Comfort with fast-paced, iterative environments where quality and innovation are prioritized
Not a Fit
- Mobile-only or retail-focused design backgrounds
- Candidates coming from large, slow-moving banks (e.g., Wells Fargo) with outdated design sensibilities
- Portfolios lacking deep thinking or that show only surface-level aesthetics
