As an engineer at Cue you are at the heart of our solutions, working on product builds from start to finish, solving lots of challenges while helping us build our next generation platform.
We are essentially aiming to disrupt traditional call centres with software defined omni-channel customer support solutions. Our clients are spread across a diverse range of industries including retail, insurance, logistics, healthcare, education, FMCG, automotive, recycling, finance, e-commerce, and sales.
Cue has offices in Cape Town and London with a remotely distributed product team around the world. We’re building a global team to make digital customer service better.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a software engineer / full stack or frontend engineer
- Experience building scalable, maintainable, and accessible web applications in React
- Experience writing TypeScript
- Experience with the best practices in the React ecosystem using libraries like react-router, react-query, zustand, xstate, etc.
- Building and maintaining design systems (comfortable with using headless components, tailwind, Storybook)
- Experience with writing maintainable performant styles with CSS-in-JS solutions like Emotion as well as TailwindCSS
Duties and responsibilities:
- Building new products and features in the roadmap by producing high-quality UIs and UX.
- Add new features to existing products, continuing to ensure our user experience is world class.
- Influence the direction of our products by gathering insights and feedback from our customers and the wider industry.
- Ensuring the platform is performant, secure, scalable, robust, reliable and high quality, well tested code in the critical areas;
- Triage, isolate and fix frontend defects
- Championing and sharing best practices to improve the team and code over time;
