Role Description The Senior AI Pipeline Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven solutions for pipeline engineering workflows. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing pipeline design and integrity processes, defining data and model requirements, and developing end-to-end AI pipelines that integrate with engineering software and tools. The role involves building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, validating calculations and models against engineering standards, and collaborating with other senior engineers to audit client workflows and translate business needs into technical solutions. The Senior AI Pipeline Engineer also supports deployment to production environments, monitors performance, and iteratively improves models and pipelines to increase reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Pipeline Engineering and Pipeline Design for industrial or energy-sector applications.
• Experience with Corrosion analysis and management within pipeline systems.
• Proficiency in engineering Calculations related to fluid flow, stress analysis, and safety factors.
• Expertise in Pipeline Integrity assessment, monitoring, and risk mitigation.
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python) and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with engineering standards and regulations applicable to pipeline design and integrity.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects.
• Experience collaborating with clients or stakeholders to define requirements and deliver production-grade technical solutions.
