We are looking for an App Development & Support Engineering Lead to design, build, and support software solutions, with a strong focus on Portfolio Analytics.
You’ll lead the Aladdin integration and performance attribution initiatives, act as the escalation point for complex production issues, and ensure consistent engineering standards across teams.
💼 What You’ll Do
- Design and implement applications that support portfolio analytics, performance, and attribution workflows.
- Act as Level 2 escalation point for production issues unresolved by Level 1 support.
- Enforce best practices for development, release, and peer review processes.
- Lead the remediation of Aladdin technical debt and the migration of Emerging Markets attribution from FactSet to Aladdin.
- Oversee the stability and scalability of data pipelines and analytics services.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a strong “one team” culture.
- Collaborate with the Technical Product Owner to define, prioritize, and deliver technical goals in Agile sprints.
- Support automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring for cloud-ready, resilient applications.
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise application development, ideally in asset management or investment risk systems.
- Strong background in platform design and end-to-end software delivery.
- Proven experience leading distributed/onshore-offshore engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with Aladdin integration or performance attribution systems.
⚙️ Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Python, C#, SQL, SSIS, Airflow, dbt.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise architecture.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues quickly.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
