Software Engineer

Cryptoworth is a rapidly expanding startup that specializes in financial software for crypto companies. Our software provides cryptocurrency accounting, tax, bookkeeping solutions. Our core software was created to reduce the financial reporting complexity of cryptocurrency. We are a team that strongly believes in the cryptocurrency-oriented future for the financial world and are looking for an engineer who live and breathe code to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend and backend systems of our core web product.
• Articulate a long-term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling our web product.
• Help improve security, availability, and scalability in our software infrastructure.
• Create seamless user experiences by simplifying the cryptic nature of cryptocurrencies using modern tools like Angular and TypeScript.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to understand as well as explain accounting, tax, and mathematical user requirements of stakeholders of varying levels of technical and crypto experience
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience using Javascript, Typescript, PHP, Python, NodeJS, Express, NextJS, or similar.
• Solid experience architecting solutions in cloud solutions like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Solid understanding of SQL
• Ability to solve problems independently
• Experience managing and scaling early engineering teams
• Understanding of Cryptocurrencies, web3, and blockchains.
• Experience developing cloud services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Experience developing with a test-driven mentality
• Proficiency with Git
• A good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

• Hackathon experience or competitive programming
• Experience contributing to open-source crypto projects
• Experience working with enterprise systems
• Experience working with accounting and tax systems.
• Experience with ETL systems
