About the team and role:

The AV Hardware Systems (AVHWS) team drives the planning, execution and delivery of the various hardware systems (sensors, compute, interface modules) needed on Cruise's current and next generation of Autonomous vehicles.

In this Technical Program Management (TPM) role, you will:

• Be a part of the AVHWS TPM team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining program schedules, driving the engineering and XFNL teams to execute on time, and owning overall hardware delivery.
• Interact with the TPM community to optimize program management processes and tools for the team; and
• Take on the management of a hardware development project that will impact our overall AVHW portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

• Defining project plans and timelines
• Leading multi-functional teams and engineers to deliver on schedule
• Communicating/mitigating program risks and blockers
• Delivering program updates to leadership
• Improving Cruise TPM processes and tools

What you must have:

• You are currently pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You are adept at organizing information and addressing inefficiencies in any process

• Fearless ability to jump in and solve problems
• Experience using Smartsheets, Confluence, JIRA, Google Docs Suite, and other program management tools
