Position: Image Annotation Expert

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $45/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Long-term (6–12 months)

Commitment: Minimum 20–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Design structured evaluation rubrics to assess AI performance on image-based tasks.
• Analyze AI responses for accuracy in visual reasoning and recognition.
• Create benchmark datasets and establish quality control criteria for image annotations.
• Collaborate with research teams to improve AI model performance in visual recognition and reasoning.
• Provide feedback on the performance of AI systems and contribute insights to refine the models.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in the annotation process by working closely with other subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Education: Background in image analysis, cognitive science, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong professional experience in image annotation or data curation for AI/ML models.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to define clear, objective annotation standards.
• Commitment: Ability to commit to 20–40 hours/week and participate in 2–5 calibration calls per week.
