QA Engineer - AI & TypeScript | $42/hr Remote

Position: Junior Software Engineer – AI Quality & Testing

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $30 - $42/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate AI-powered web and mobile products with a focus on video generation.
• Write detailed test cases and document bugs, edge cases, and product issues.
• Contribute code improvements and fixes to TypeScript-based projects.
• Analyze user feedback to identify product improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations.
• Apply structured quality engineering practices to enhance product performance.
• Maintain organized documentation of testing processes and findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with experience contributing to production codebases.
• Demonstrated portfolio of self-built projects.
• Ability to navigate and contribute to complex codebases.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Interest in AI tools and video generation technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
