Position: Video Games Tutor (Full Time)

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Full-time Position

Compensation: $90,000–$200,000/year

Location: Remote

Commitment: Full-time

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

  • Use proprietary tools to label, annotate, and evaluate gaming-related data including mechanics, storylines, and design structure.
  • Provide in-depth feedback on gameplay quality, creativity, and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and refine annotation systems and workflows.
  • Analyze AI-generated gaming content to ensure balance, functionality, and replay value.
  • Apply knowledge of gaming trends, design tools, and storytelling principles to guide AI learning.
  • Test and iterate AI-generated prototypes to enhance realism and player interaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Interactive Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in game design or development supported by a strong professional or academic portfolio.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills for evaluating storytelling, mechanics, and gameplay.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to creative and functional detail.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt dynamically in an innovative environment.

Preferred Backgrounds

  • Experience in AI-assisted game development, indie game creation, or playtesting.
  • Strong familiarity with diverse game genres, development tools, and platforms.
  • Experience mentoring or teaching game design or related creative fields.
