Marketing Business Analyst

Our small digital agency client is seeking a Marketing Business Analyst to help their team for the next 4 months!

This is fully remote and 20-30 hours a week.

They Are Looking For a Marketing Business Analyst With

• At least 5 years of business analyst or product management experience
• Experience working with UX, Product Design and Development teams
• Experience with ecommerce (ideally B2B), platforms (Optimizely, Shopify, Hybris) and other ecosystem tools like PIMS and ERP that may be part of the integration.
• Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and very comfortable in front of clients. Ability to be the lead BA on ecommerce projects.
• Mobile and/or Web app project experience
• Ability to work fairly autonomously without much oversight.
• Understanding of CMS and marketing websites would be nice to have
• Agency experience strongly preferred

Marketing Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Drive conversation between several functions with client & agency including: Business Leaders, IT, Design, UX to gather needed information to produce Business Requirements to support a product vision
• Understand high level technical architecture and help identify gaps between existing systems and what will be needed for a successful product
• Translate business requirements into user stories
• Work closely with UX/UI and agency dev teams to ensure designs and builds are aligned to user stories and that all functional teams have the information they need to build/design in a timely fashion
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure proper testing
• Manage user acceptance testing and business related training with the client
• Maintain all feature planning and backlog documentation
• Maintain all action logs between client and agency teams
