The Marketing Associate is responsible for marketing CLEAR and CAMS clients and communicating across multiple platforms. We are seeking a member-focused team member who is motivated to excel at marketing and is skilled at website maintenance and social media networking.
The Marketing Associate supports the mission of CLEAR in the areas of marketing design by utilizing CLEAR’s style guide for branding consistency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate the general promotion of CLEAR programs and events on our website, social media networks, and, upon occasion, print.
2. Design, write, and coordinate publication of e-newsletters, targeted e-mail campaigns, blog posts, and other reports, with consistent messaging for CLEAR and CAMS clients.
a. Under the supervision of Deputy Director maintain email marketing calendars – CLEAR & Non-CLEAR Learning, determining best dates for sending various messages
b. Under the direction of the Deputy Director, manage distribution of email marketing and e-newsletters.
c. Assist the Deputy Director, Program Facilitator and Membership Representative, and Executive Assistant with MailChimp data records management.
3. Assist with publication and distribution of Professional Licensing Report (PLR) and CER.
4. Manage CLEAR and CAMS client’s websites, implementing strategies as defined by management.
5. Monitor and regularly report on analytics for CLEAR and CAMS client email campaigns, websites and social media platforms.
6. Draft and disseminate surveys and polls on topics of interest to CLEAR and CAMS client members. Publish and promote results on websites and other channels.
7. Draft reports for CLEAR and CAMS client Boards of Directors on activity and engagement levels across all communication channels.
8. Under the guidance of management, manage CLEAR’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn) using Hootsuite and work with the Content and Research Coordinator and other staff to identify content and topics for scheduled posts with the aim of keeping content up to date and relevant.
9. Create digital and paper collateral (graphics and copy). This includes, but is not limited to, infographics, flyers, booklets, annual report, social media graphics, homepage sliders, logos, programs, etc.
10. Coordinate with external vendors—including graphic designers, printers, and contractors—to develop and produce high-quality signage, branding materials, and marketing collateral that support CLEAR events and initiatives, ensuring all deliverables align with brand guidelines, event timelines, and budget parameters.
11. Create and edit marketing videos for CLEAR and CAMS clients.
12. Maintenance of CLEAR and CAMS client listservs.
13. Upon request, help manage print projects, including vendor selection.
14. Under the direction of the Deputy Director, manage special projects (i.e. website redesigns, evaluating CRM systems, researching and evaluating membership engagement platforms, setting up new social media accounts, development of a brand kit).
15. On a weekly basis, monitor website for broken links and take action to correct.
16. Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Associate or technical degree/certificate in marketing or communications required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
2. 2-4 years or more of experience required in a marketing role.
3. 2-4 years or more of experience in graphic design.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
1. Experience running multiple social media channels, managing, and scheduling content, publishing social media ads, engaging audiences, and analyzing results using Hootsuite.
2. Experience with website content management systems, preferably Wild Apricot, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
3. Proficiency in Adobe software or similar design software required
4. Proficiency in MailChimp or similar email marketing software required
5. Proficiency in Survey software skills required
6. Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required
7. Experience in video creation & editing
8. CSS & HTML coding skills preferred
9. Familiarity with Personify, preferred
10. Mobile app software skills preferred
11. Video creation and editing skills preferred

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Sensory Demands
The noise level in the office environment is low. However, when traveling to meetings, conferences, etc. the noise level may be moderate.
