We’re looking for an experienced Senior / Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead) to join and guide our engineering teams while building innovative products and driving technical excellence. This role is mostly hands-on coding with some team leadership and project ownership in a fast-paced startup environment. What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust data intelligence services for crunching through vast lakes of Cosmose data
• Design and implement internal tools or prepare one-off reports for our data-driven decision and monitoring needs
• Lead and mentor the team, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Maintain high code quality standards through proper design, well-structured automated testing, and thorough code reviews
• Assist with the assessments of experiments and formulate recommendations as to the best course of action in product development based on data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
• Drive innovation by staying up to date with emerging technologies and trends.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering; experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
• Significant experience in software development with a focus on building and deploying scalable solutions. We work in Python, we like Clickhouse.
• Strong understanding of statistics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
• Interest or experience in infrastructure development is a plus.
• A mindset for innovation and the drive to build high-impact products in a startup environment.
