Our Mission
We are on a mission to redefine the solo economy. Move Solo is building the first "agentic
OS", a category-defining platform that helps independent digital freelancers rediscover the
joy of their craft by removing the friction of business management. We combine agentic
technology with high-end design to deliver an autonomous experience that manages the
"noise" of freelancing from lead generation, to communication and financial health.
Our core philosophy is reductionism. We believe that the best interface is the one that
disappears, allowing the user to focus on the work they love while our system handles the
operations in the background. As we scale, our commitment to privacy, agency, and
minimalist design remains our guiding principle.
Recruitment Security
To protect yourself from recruitment scams, please note that our team communicates only
through official company emails ending in @movesolo.ai. If you receive a suspicious
message, please do not respond and report it to us immediately.
The Role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Product Designer to own the design and user
experience (UX) of our Agentic OS. This role is critical in creating a high-end, minimalist
interface that transforms how freelancers interact with their business data.
You will collaborate closely with engineering to design and iterate on "Invisible" experiences
that support our mission. Using first-principles thinking, you will tirelessly seek opportunities
to reduce cognitive load, improve the "Draft & Nudge" workflow, and create a core browsing
experience that feels like a premium partner rather than a tool.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the OS Design Process: Focus on user needs and delightful, low-friction interactions for high-level independent professionals.
● Prototype the Agentic Interface: Design the UI/UX for our custom operating system, including the "Agentic Log," autonomous marketplace, and predictive calendar.
● Web & Mobile Integration: Design user-friendly features that allow users to monitor their business health and approve agentic actions off-device
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering leads to align on objectives and deliver innovative, reductionist design solutions
● High-Fidelity Iteration: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity
designs. Refine these based on rigorous internal testing and user feedback.
● Customer Empathy: Build a consistent practice around team-wide customer
research, leading sessions to identify pain points in the current freelance lifecycle.
● Design System Ownership: Help build and maintain a consistent, premium design
language (typography, materiality, and motion) across the OS and web platforms.
● Advocacy: Act as the internal voice for the value of design-led engineering and the
importance of a "Zero-Interface" philosophy.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, or a similar role within consumer-facing digital products.
● Strong Portfolio: Demonstrated experience in interaction design and visual systems
with an emphasis on minimalist, high-craft aesthetics.
● Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of software development processes and
how design impacts engineering velocity.
● Craft: An elite eye for typography, grid systems, and the use of materiality (light,
depth, and motion) in digital spaces.
● Tooling: Expert proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
● Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design
decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Ambiguity: A knack for taking "blue sky" agentic concepts and shaping them into clear, actionable product goals.
Nice To Have
● Experience designing operating systems or "Invisible" AI-driven interfaces.
● Familiarity with financial technology or marketplace dynamics.
● Experience in a high-velocity, early-stage startup environment. Or Experience at companies such as Anthropic, Apple, Google and Fast growing startups.
● Knowledge of building and scaling comprehensive design systems from scratch.
We Offer
● The ability to work alongside our advisors who have worked for great companies such as Apple, Google, Disney, NVIDIA & Amazon.
● A product-driven culture that prioritises individual growth and obsessive craft.
● Flexible working hours and a high-trust vacation policy.
● Competitive compensation and equity package.
