Data Visualization Developer (Power BI / SQL / SSMS)

About the Role

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Data Visualization Developer to support a short-term project focused on migrating Tableau reports into Power BI. This position requires a self-starter who is data-curious, analytical, and capable of working independently to find and present data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business intelligence professional who can design, develop, and deliver high-quality data visualizations that enable effective decision-making in clinical and operational domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of reporting dashboards and data visualizations for clinical, operational, and quality performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze source systems, define transformation requirements, and design dimensional data models.
• Develop, document, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
• Serve as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders in a Technical Product Owner capacity.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and usability of all reports and dashboards.
• Provide guidance and training to business users on data visualization tools and reporting best practices.
• Support the identification and definition of KPIs and measurement methodologies for quality and outcomes tracking.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics.
• 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience (SSMS).
• 3+ years with Power BI (Power BI Desktop and Service required).
• Proficiency with relational databases and dimensional data modeling (3–5 years).
• Proven experience with data visualization design and dashboard best practices.
• Experience in Agile methodology environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Healthcare or Home Health industry experience, especially with Home Care Home Base systems or OASIS datasets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Factory or Data Warehouse solutions.
