We’re seeking a passionate and skilled UX Designer to join our mission of creating a next-generation EMR and consumer-facing app tailored for wound care. Our goal is to enhance patient outcomes and streamline clinical workflows through intuitive, user-focused design.

Position Overview:

As a UX Designer, you’ll shape user-friendly experiences for our cutting-edge EMR system, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and clinicians. You’ll drive the design process from research to prototyping, ensuring seamless and impactful interactions for clinicians and patients across web and mobile. Reporting to the Director of Technical Product Management, you’ll also help build a scalable design system to support our evolving platform.

Key Responsibilities:

User-Centered Design: Lead end-to-end design, creating intuitive solutions for wound care clinicians and patients.
Research & Insights: Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and journey mapping to inform design decisions with qualitative and quantitative data.
Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and clinicians to define UX needs and deliver clear design artifacts.
Design Artifacts: Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.
Iterative Design: Refine designs based on feedback, testing, and team input to ensure usability and efficiency.
Design Systems: Contribute to a consistent, scalable design system, working with engineers for accurate implementation.
Accessibility & Compliance: Ensure designs meet HIPAA and accessibility standards for diverse users.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current on design trends and propose enhancements to the product and process.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience: 5+ years as a UX Designer with a portfolio showcasing user-centered solutions for complex products. Healthcare experience is a plus.
Design Expertise: Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, with experience in research and usability testing.
Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a history of working with cross-functional teams.
Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar for creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with EHR workflows, HIPAA, and accessibility standards preferred.
Visual Design: Ability to craft visually appealing, functional interfaces.
Problem-Solving: Adaptable and skilled at navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements.
