We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented developer to join our growing Java Development team. The successful candidate will join a team that develops the cornerstone functionalities for the business.

What you will be doing:

Act as a Java technical resource for other development and non-technical staff.
Create and maintain functional UI and backend code.
Participate as a team member in analysis, development, implementation, testing and documentation of software engineering projects, setting and meeting realistic timelines and deadlines.
Ensure that design and code review occur in a timely manner and that systems are documented.
Follow Copyright Clearance Center’s production processes, including source code management, environment management and implementation planning.
May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience leveraging Java, Spring in modern web applications.
Solid knowledge on AWS, especially EC2, RDS, SQS, SNS, and S3.
Good understanding of DB, including PostgreSQL and Liquibase.
Know-how on product monitoring and analyzing tools such as Splunk.
Experience with Agile development process, SAFe is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, subject to peer review.
Ability to set and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical and interpretative skills and oral and written communication in English.
