The Role: We are seeking a motivated Sr. Project Manager to join our Post Sales team. In this position, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of an energy-saving project. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting CES salespeople and customers throughout all phases of project development and execution. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest level of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills, be a self-motivator, with technical expertise in energy-efficient lighting and controls, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans and timelines for multiple projects, overseeing up to $5 million in energy-efficient lighting and controls projects to meet profitability targets in the first year (and $6.5m+ by year two).
• Maintain a +4-5% margin and achieve a minimum 70% Utilization Rate, utilizing industry experience to resolve project issues and ensure stakeholder consensus.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Administrator to meet lead times, taking full ownership of projects from initiation through completion.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain accurate budgets, and deliver at least 80% of projects on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain open communication with end-users, proactively addressing potential issues to prevent delays.
• Attend sessions for continuous technical development, while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and pursuing revenue opportunities.
• Travel will be required regularly (20-30%).

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and good sense of humor.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field, OR Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the lighting or construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, including energy-efficient lighting and controls.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of lighting design principles, photometrics, and controls systems preferred
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
