Job Summary
As a software engineer with a testing focus on the customer facing- digital solutions team you will collaborate with a skilled group of engineers dedicated to enhancing the core customer experience. This team focuses on improving the Android and iOS mobile applications, as well as the MyAccount web application, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across all platforms. They collaborate with on-team QA Engineers and developers to develop an automation strategy that can facilitate shortened test cycles and add value through quality coverage. Additionally, they drive forward testability solutions and lead automation strategies across CCI.
Responsibilities
Acts as the technical expert providing direction on problems of systems integration testing and compatibility.
Collaborate across teams to drive forward automated strategies and innovate upon our approach to quality.
Develop automated checks within the domain framework for API as well as UI.
Deliver automation strategies for teams with a quality approach.
Mentor and train all Dev and QA members on how to improve automation.
Work with lead developers to improve testability and test data strategies.
Organize and maintain automated tests in any CI/CD solution.
Perform code reviews to ensure developers are writing testable code.
Perform code reviews on the work of other members of the automation team.
Explore opportunities to improve quality at every stage of the SDLC from requirements and planning
to deployment and maintenance.
Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Learn new technologies and tools as business needs change and effectively incorporate them.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable 4 years of experience in Software Test Automation.
Experience leading test efforts and meeting quality objectives on time.
Knowledge of object oriented and functional software design.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both write and verbal communication.
Experience with implementing automation tools and concepts.
Experience in developing automated frameworks.
Ability to write coded solutions for complex issues.
Team player and fun to work with.

Pipeline tools (Team city, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo) Visual Studio
