Role: ADA Developer
Maastricht, Netherlands (with opportunities to support projects across Europe)
We are seeking an experienced ADA Developer to join the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and review ADA code changes in line with approved change requests.
- Maintain and enhance large-scale, mission-critical software systems.
- Update requirements, design, and technical documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance standards are met.
- Develop test scripts and perform unit and system testing to validate software modifications.
- Investigate incidents and software issues, identify root causes, and support resolution activities.
- Work closely with technical teams using Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Support the ongoing reliability, availability, and performance of flight data processing systems.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years' recent experience as a backend developer using ADA, Java, or C++.
- Minimum 5 years' recent experience developing, maintaining, and evolving mission-critical systems with large codebases (100,000+ lines of code).
- Minimum 5 years' recent experience working within Linux environments.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, using tools such as Jira, BitBucket, or equivalent.
