A high-growth, remote based, independent digital marketing agency is hiring a Head of Performance Marketing to lead and scale its paid media function.
This is a player-coach role — ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the work while building and mentoring a high-performing team.
You’ll take ownership of performance strategy across a diverse client base including eCommerce, Travel & Tourism, and B2B, with a clear mandate to grow and manage a team of 3–4 specialists over time.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead performance marketing strategy across Paid Search (60%) & Paid Social (40%)
- Stay hands-on with key client accounts (strategy + execution oversight)
- Build, mentor and scale a high-performing paid media team
- Act as senior point of contact for key clients
- Drive performance, ROI and continuous optimisation across campaigns
- Identify opportunities for growth, upsell and new channels
- Implement best-in-class tracking, attribution and reporting frameworks
Experience:
- 7+ years in performance marketing (agency experience preferred)
- Strong expertise in all aspects of Performance Marketing with a particular focus on Paid Search (Google Ads) and Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Numbers driven when it comes to digital marketing with key skills across analytics & tracking (GA4, GTM, attribution models)
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and delivering measurable ROI
- Proven ability to lead, mentor or build teams
- Commercial mindset with confidence in client-facing environments
- Comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with strategic leadership
