Position Summary:
ConnexPay is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer (Contract-to-Hire) who is passionate about building innovative, world-class software products. In this role, you will work across the full SDLC including requirements, architecture, development, and customer integrations within a fast-paced, agile environment.
You will join a high-performing engineering team building a multi-tenant, cloud-based payments platform that is reshaping the industry. This role requires a full-stack engineer with advanced knowledge of C# and .NET.

Responsibilities:
- Develop enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core, C#, MVC, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Contribute across all phases of the solution lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, QA, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with both on-site and distributed teams in an Agile environment.
- Work on customer integrations for ConnexPay’s payment platform.
- Apply best practices for code quality, performance tuning, security, and maintainability.
- Leverage observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.) to ensure system health and reliability.
- Manage code changes using Git or equivalent version-control systems.
- Participate in architectural discussions and assist in roadmap development.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years building enterprise applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and C#.
- 5+ years working with front-end frameworks including AngularJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
- 5+ years of SQL Server experience including optimized stored procedures and UDFs.
- Strong understanding of observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work closely with both on-site and off-site teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Experience using Git or comparable source-control platforms.

- Payments or financial services industry experience.
- Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity or Octopus Deploy.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and patterns.
