We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join a high-impact Supply Chain Science team working on demand forecasting and optimization challenges at scale.

This role focuses on building advanced models that help predict demand and provide actionable recommendations for store transfers and purchase orders to support demand planning.

You will collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to design scalable modeling solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the right modeling approaches for supply chain challenges at scale

• Develop innovative solutions using Machine Learning, Operations Research, and Statistics

• Improve demand forecasting models by integrating additional business signals and constraints

• Work collaboratively in data science brainstorming sessions to solve complex modeling problems

• Translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions

• Define data requirements and collaborate with data engineering and tech teams to shape platform capabilities

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience applying machine learning techniques to real-world datasets

• Strong experience with regression modeling and ensemble methods (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost)

• Experience with Time-Series Forecasting or Linear Optimization

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Experience with Pandas, Scikit-learn, SQL, Airflow, and PySpark

• Ability to write clean, maintainable production-grade code

• Strong ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
