About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Marketing Lead to help drive our global content strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong English writing skills with technical depth, enabling them to produce clear, compelling, developer-focused content. You will engage technical audiences while also contributing thoughtful, business-level perspectives. This role requires that each piece be tailored to its intended audience, whether that’s a CTO, Software Developer, Product Manager, Head of Marketing, or Head of Customer Service. You are self-managed, individual contributor, highly detail-oriented; and expected to deliver exceptional-quality content without additional oversight or editing. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to scale and optimize content creation.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and lead the global content marketing strategy to build brand awareness, engage target audiences, and generate demand
- Create, edit, and optimize a wide range of content, including blogs, white papers, case studies, emails, landing pages, and social media assets
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Jasper, Copy.ai, Grammarly, Surfer SEO, etc.) to accelerate content production while ensuring originality, creativity, and high quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and sales teams to align content with business goals
- Influence SEO/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy: perform keyword research, optimize content for search and generative engines, and track content performance
- Manage editorial calendars, enforce brand tone/voice, and ensure consistency across all channels
- Measure and report on content performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in content marketing, specifically for a US-based B2B Saas/PaaS vendor in:
- Real-time communications (RTC) platforms preferred
- Developer tools and platforms
- Cloud infrastructure & platforms
- Data & integration platforms
- ML/AI platforms and infra
- Proven track record of producing high-quality content for global audiences. Candidate must provide a portfolio of content upon application.
- Demonstrated expertise in using AI tools to ideate, draft, edit, and optimize content
- Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing channels, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Ability to maintain a working schedule that provides at least 2-3 hours of overlap with the US Pacific Time (PST) business day for synchronous collaboration
- Exceptional native-level written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to distill complex technical topics into accessible, engaging content
- Experience managing contributors (in-house or freelance) and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience writing for a leading Conversational AI or RTC vendor
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce)
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
