Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Business Analysis to lead Business Analysis for our Digital Experience & Engineering practice. This role requires a strong background in agile development, digital marketing technologies, and composable architectures to drive product ownership and business analysis functions across our consulting services practice.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with digital experience and commerce platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Contentstack, Commercetools, Contentful, BigCommerce, Algolia, and Adobe Commerce. They will act as a strategic partner across business, technology, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless alignment between business objectives and scalable technology solutions.
As a key leader, this role will require close collaboration with Technical Leads and Software Architects to shape and implement enterprise digital experience and commerce solutions. Additionally, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving best practices for agile business analysis, product ownership, and consulting excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Leadership:
- Lead Business Analysis for Digital Experience & Engineering
- Own and drive Business Analysis strategy for the Digital Experience & Engineering practice, ensuring high-quality requirements, solution alignment, and best practices.
- Act as a Product Owner, partnering with stakeholders to define digital roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and drive successful execution.
- Champion agile methodologies and composable architectures, ensuring best practices across all engagements.
- Work closely with Technical Leads, Software Architects, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable, composable digital solutions.
- Develop business process models, user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria for digital experience and commerce solutions.
- Conduct discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to define business and technical requirements.
Consulting & Client Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through digital transformation initiatives and experience-driven commerce strategies.
- Drive client engagements by leading business analysis strategy, product ownership, and digital roadmap discussions.
- Lead pre-sales engagements, including RFP responses, solution workshops, and client presentations.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, evolving business analysis and product management frameworks based on industry trends and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert in CMS and Commerce solutions, providing guidance to clients and internal teams.
Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Product Owners, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and continuous learning.
- Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven culture, working cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and marketing teams.
- Define KPIs and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of business analysis and product ownership functions.
- Partner with Technical Leads and Software Architects to ensure business and technology alignment for client solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies within the Digital Experience and Digital Transformation domains.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, or product management within digital marketing, commerce, or experience platforms.
- Proven experience leading business analysis for digital experience and engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing tools and composable architectures, with hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager, Contentstack, Commercetools, Contentful, BigCommerce, Algolia, Adobe Commerce, and similar platforms.
- Proven consulting experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a professional services or agency environment.
- Experience managing and mentoring teams of Business Analysts and Product Owners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology.
- Experience partnering with Technical Leads and Software Architects to align business needs with scalable digital solutions.
- Experience with roadmap planning, backlog management, and business case development for digital initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise-level digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with API-first, headless, and cloud-native architectures.
- Understanding of eCommerce and personalization strategies.
- Certifications in CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, CBAP, or PMI-PBA are a plus.

Job Specifications
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent employment.
- Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000.
- Location: Richmond/DC Metro or Twin Cities.
- Travel: Occasional travel as needed for client engagements and internal team meetings.
