Role: Software Engineer II

Shift: Mid Shift (2PM – 11PM)

Set-Up: Work from Home

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain systems using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Analyze existing code and improve its performance and reliability.
• Implement file transfer technologies to ensure secure and efficient data exchange.
• Develop and maintain applications using PHP, Visual Studio with VB and C#.
• Integrate and utilize APIs to enhance functionality and data exchange.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Python development for backend processes and system automation.
• Proficiency in PHP, C#, and VB.
• Experience with file transfer technologies (e.g., FTP, SFTP, HTTP).
• Strong analytical skills for existing code analysis and optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
• Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with API integration and development.
• Experience utilizing AI technologies to supplement the design and development of solutions.
