Senior Motion Graphic Designer/Healthcare focus

Compass is now looking for an experienced Senior Motion Graphics Artist with a passion for visual storytelling and a strong background in medical or scientific communication. You will create compelling animations that help explain complex medical concepts, products, and procedures for a range of audiences including patients, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and animate high-quality 2D motion graphics for medical education, product explainers, procedural visualizations, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate closely with medical writers, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to translate technical content into engaging visual narratives.
• Lead the conceptual development of visual content, including storyboarding, style frames, and motion tests.
• Ensure animations are medically accurate, aligned with branding guidelines, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Stay up to date with animation trends, medical visualization standards, and new technologies.
• Participate in review cycles, incorporating feedback from both creative and scientific stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines across different medical brands and therapeutic areas.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in motion graphics, ideally with work in the medical, biotech, or healthcare sector.
• Strong portfolio showcasing work on medical animations, explainer videos, or healthcare-related content.
• Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and basic knowledge of Premiere Pro.
• Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Animation, or a related field.
