Staff Engineer (Fully Remote | $200K–$235K Base + Equity)
We’re looking for a Staff Engineer to take on a key technical leadership role, driving projects that push the boundaries of how software gets built and delivered. You’ll be hands-on — writing high-quality code, making scalable technical decisions, and leading by example. What You’ll Do
- Own the full lifecycle of complex features — scoping, designing, implementing, and shipping code that directly improves workflows for end-users.
- Act as a technical lead for critical initiatives, ensuring high-quality, fast delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to transform ambiguous problems into simple, scalable solutions.
- Build AI-driven solutions tailored to industry experts, with an eye toward emerging agentic and MCP-driven systems.
- Enhance APIs and data integrations using our 100% TypeScript (React + Node) stack.
- Champion best practices in testing, code review, observability, and CI/CD.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, shaping team culture and elevating technical standards.
- Influence architectural decisions, tooling, and processes for long-term engineering excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in a modern web stack.
- Proven record of technical leadership on large or complex projects.
- Comfortable working across the stack with adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Bias toward incremental value delivery while upholding strong engineering standards.
- Bonus: Experience in later-stage startups (Series D+) or big tech environments, especially within Fintech.
