Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled web developer to design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in front-end and back-end development, user experience (UX), modern web technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. The potential candidate will work closely with the branding director, digital marketing manager, project managers, and other stakeholders to create high-quality scalable and responsive web solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or modern frameworks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create high-quality UI/UX into functional, high-performance websites.
Optimize websites for speed, scalability, security, and SEO best practices.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices.
Ensure websites and applications comply with best practices and industry standards.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development
Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and databases as needed.
Stay updated with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices.
Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.
Maintain and improve website security and data protection measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in web development
Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
Strong knowledge of back-end development using Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar technologies.
Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO principles.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
