The Role

We are hiring an AI Software Engineer to lead the buildout of Collateral OS, our internal operating system. Collateral OS connects our sales, proposals, research, deck architecture, QA, reporting, and client-update workflows into a unified system that agents can act on. You will architect production agent systems, ship full-stack production code, and embed directly with internal teams to turn messy workflows into working agents.

The work covers the full agent stack: workflow data capture, MCP endpoints, model strategy across open-source and frontier models, evaluations, observability, voice-first interfaces, and the agent skills themselves. This is the technical seat that builds the internal system the firm runs on.

Requirements

• 4+ years shipping production software in small or mid-sized teams
• Production experience building agentic systems (tool use, multi-step reasoning, RAG, evaluations, observability)
• Daily use of frontier LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable)
• Strong full-stack foundation: Next.js (App Router preferred), Postgres, TypeScript end to end, AWS, Vercel
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) with a documented track record of shipping faster

Remote or Dallas, TX. Reports to the Managing Director. Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus. 15 days PTO.
