The Sr. Marketing Strategist is responsible for setting objectives to create profitable and concerted marketing strategies for Coinstar and its divisions. The ideal candidate fully understands how to build effective marketing campaigns, understands how to develop & explain the customer journey, and what components are needed to implement the strategy including, but not limited to, market research, copywriting, social media, website optimization, email automation, and SMS. The Sr. Marketing Strategist understands all the moving components and manages both the internal and external teams in a fully remote environment. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the ability to help bolster Coinstar’s market share while remaining consistent with brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create marketing strategies to launch new products and market existing offerings
- Develop PR and social media strategy for assigned Coinstar divisions
- Help lead influencer marketing strategies across Coinstar portfolio
- Forecast market trends
- Provide analysis and recommendations to the marketing and communications team
- Help shape the brand positioning and narrative while targeting the proper audience
- Analyze sales and marketing key performance indicators
- Ensure marketing strategies align with overall business strategy
- Gather and organize information into reports or visual presentations to help management make effective decisions.
- Develop and manage lead generation programs to drive opportunities for the sales team
- Maintain brand consistency and ensure overall campaign quality.
- Monitor KPIs, and set up mechanisms to measure multiple campaigns across many online channels
- Develop creative campaigns and messaging that drives results
- Craft overall strategy for both paid and unpaid marketing platforms to meet the business goals of the organization.
- Drive creative strategy through collaboration with key partners and internal teams
- Develop and optimize digital strategy (including, but not limited to, Coinstar owned properties, SEO, GMB, Paid Media, Video, and eMail).
- Create briefs to guide company-wide marketing and brand strategy and delivery.
Other
- Assists on International marketing projects as needed
- Coordinate and integrate marketing efforts for partners – ie. Charities and Retailer MDF funds
- Manage internal relationships with technology and product teams to ensure fluidity of communications to front line teams (i.e. sales, customer service and field ops)
- Ensure legal compliance and approval of all marketing efforts
- Develop sales materials in support of business development efforts.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of related marketing or advertising experience preferred.
- Experience developing strategies for and partnering with in-house and with creative and/or design teams.
- Experience maintaining a view of the overarching picture, while going on details.
- Experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires collaboration across teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in social media, affiliate, and influencer marketing strategies.

Pay and Benefits
The typical starting salary range for this position is between $93,504 - $126,189 per year. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges, within the United States, which allows us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. Employees in this position have the potential to increase their base salary up to $151,427 per year, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing demonstrated and continuous performance in the role. Short-Term and Long-Term bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.

Physical Requirements
Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment.
