This role will play a major part in how Coinbase drives retail trader growth across EMEA, working across a host of different full-funnel marketing tactics and collaborating across a vast array of teams to ensure effective brand uplift, customer acquisition and retention at every customer touchpoint.

You will be part of an expanding EMEA Marketing team, working closely with your EMEA Marketing peers to share successful initiatives, learnings and scale growth in your market with a proactive approach to problem solving and going the extra mile to drive results.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in consumer technology and/or cryptocurrency, possessing in-depth knowledge of the EMEA market (specifically France, Italy & Spain). You should be adept at strategizing and executing successful marketing campaigns that resonate with both the finance and crypto sectors while catering to the unique needs of different EMEA markets. In this role you will be:

Growth: Build and optimise growth strategies based on market-level data insights, to form ROI positive strategies for growing existing user revenues/volume, and acquisition of high LTV new customers.
Brand & Partnerships: Work with the Integrated Brand & Partnerships teams to ensure local relevancy for EMEA brand efforts across integrated brand campaigns and global/local brand partnerships.
Strategic Campaign Management: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies (using Paid and Owned & Operated channels) aligned with Coinbase's business objectives, ensuring cohesive campaigns across various channels to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Science, to align marketing initiatives with product launches, feature updates, and market trends, ensuring a unified approach and consistent messaging.
Performance Analytics and Optimization: Utilize data-driven insights to assess the performance of marketing campaigns, conduct A/B testing, and optimize strategies for maximum impact. Regularly report on key performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Meaningful Content Creation: Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy, create engaging content, and stay updated on industry trends to ensure impactful communication across diverse channels.
Events & Community Management: Plan, execute, and oversee marketing events, both virtual and in-person, to enhance brand visibility and engage the community. Manage community initiatives, cultivating relationships with users and influencers to foster a vibrant and supportive community around Coinbase.

What we look for in you:

Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of marketing initiatives and making informed decisions to drive results.
Experience: 6+ years proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the fintech, crypto or technology industry, with a track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies (from paid to owned & operated channels).
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights to inform decision-making. Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms to measure campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas and strategies clearly and effectively to internal teams, stakeholders, and external audiences.
Fluency in English & French (written and spoken)

Nice to haves:

Previous experience with Crypto in EMEA
Fluency in any other languages including Spanish, Italian, Dutch or German
Based in UK

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).

Pay Range:: £78,840 GBP - £87,600 GBP
