In This Role, You Will
- We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 10+years of experience to join our .Net development team.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in PostgreSQL, Angular, and .Net Core, with a preference for those with experience in Asset and Wealth Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance software applications that align with company goals.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging processes.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into software development.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information within applications.
- Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Document software designs, processes, and code changes to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with the Asset and Wealth Management team to integrate domain-specific functionalities into software solutions.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of software applications in a hybrid work model, ensuring seamless operation.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using PostgreSQL, Angular, and .Net Core to meet business requirements.
- Must be skilled in .Net core, C# and Net Framework
- Must be skilled in SQL programming and writing Store Procedures
- Good to have skills in AWS, specifically in Terraform, Lambda, SQL, EC2 etc
- Must be aware and have experience in CI/CD
- Troubleshooting and Optimization of Production Applications and Store Procedures
- Must have good communication skills and Software Design experience

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $135K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
