About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our high-traffic Shopify Plus storefront, focusing on performance, custom feature development, and seamless user experience. If you are an expert in the Shopify ecosystem and passionate about building beautiful, high-converting digital retail experiences from anywhere in the world, we want to hear from you.

What You will Do

• Develop, customize, and maintain high-quality, responsive Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Implement new features, custom sections, and functionality based on business requirements and UI/UX designs.
• Manage, configure, and integrate third-party applications (Shopify Apps) and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, fulfillment, marketing).
• Optimize website performance (page speed, load times) and ensure the store is fully responsive and cross-browser compatible.
• Collaborate effectively with design, marketing, and product teams in a remote-first environment using tools like Slack, Zoom, and Asana.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and rigorous testing to ensure site stability and quality.
• Maintain best practices for SEO, accessibility, and site security.

What You Will Bring

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar Front-End/E-commerce role.
• Expert-level proficiency with Shopify Liquid template language.
• Strong command of front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborating on remote projects.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API) and integrating RESTful/GraphQL services.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and mobile-first design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a distributed team, along with strong self-management abilities.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Shopify Plus and checkout customization.
• Experience developing custom Shopify Apps (using Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or similar).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
